LL.M Two Year Full Time Degree Programme

  • 1. Procedure

Admission to the LL.M.. Programme is made strictly on the basis of merit as assessed through a Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

  • 2. Direct Admissions

Foreign Nationals and NRI category candidates are exempted from taking the Common Law Admission Test and the rule concerning the age limit. Candidates who wish to apply under Foreign Nationals Category and NRI category shall submit the duly filled in application form which can be downloaded from our website.

  • 3. Total seats

60 (Out of a maximum of 60 seats 10 seats are meant for Foreign Nationals and 10 seats are meant for NRI?s.)

  • 4. Specialisation Offered

Each candidate must choose area of specialisation from the following-

  • Intellectual Property
  • Corporate Law & Governance (including International Business)
  • Constitutional Law & Administrative Law
  • International Legal Order
  • NOTE:- A subject specialisation will be offered subject to avaibility of Faculty and sufficient no. of students

    • 5. Eligibility

    A candidate should have passed the B.A., LL.B degree or an equivalent degree from recognised University, there to securing in the aggregate not less than 55% of the total marks.( 50% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).

    • 6. Intake & Reservations

    The intake for the course will be a maximum of SIXTY and minimum of FORTY. Reservations will be as per the provisions of The Bihar Reservation Act, 2003 which are as follows:

    Scheduled Castes

    Scheduled Tribes
    1%
    Extremely Backward Classes
    18%
    Backward Classes
    12%
    Women of Backward Classes
    3%
    Person with Disabilities
    3%

    NOTE:- Unfilled seats, if any, in Foreign Nationals and NRI quota will be filled in as per the Bihar Act No. 16 of 2003.
