The Academic and Debating Committee, CNLU Patna has been constantly endeavouring to inculcate and promote a healthy and competitive atmosphere with respect to Debating and other academic activities within the University and facilitate quality representation in tournaments and endeavours in the national and international forum. The ADC has successfully organised a series of events and is constantly conducting regular sessions for the furtherance of the same.

7th CNLU National Parliamentary Debate

  • The CNLU National Parliamentary Debate is the most prominent event that is organised by the University. In the year 2015 the event saw the sixth edition of the event being organised. More than 40 Universities all across the country and over 100 students participated in the event making it a grand success. The Students of St. Xaviers College, Kolkata emerged victorious by defeating the students of Kirorimal College. Delhi University.

6th CNLU National Parliamentary Debate

  • The CNLU National Parliamentary Debate is the most prominent event that is organised by the University. In the year 2014 the event saw the sixth edition of the event being organised. More than 30 Universities all across the country and over 100 students participated in the event making it a grand success. The Students of Delhi University (Team of Hindu College, Kirorimal College and Hansraj College) emerged victorious by defeating the students of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University.

Confluence 2015

  • Confluence 2015 was a policy Debate that was organised by the ADC for the schools and college students in Patna. The event was instituted in the memory of Late Mr. Shilesh Chandra Mishra by Hon’ble Justice Mrs Mridula Mishra. The students of CIMP Patna emerged the winners in the event.

YOUTH PARLIAMENT

  • The CNLU students also actively participated in the Youth Parliament Competition organised by the Ministry of Youth and Parliamentary Affairs. The event saw participation of more than 50 students. Members of Parliament, State legislature and representatives of the Ministry were present during the event and acknowledged and appreciated the efforts put in by the students.

CNLU Discussion Forum

  • The CNLU Discussion Forum is an endeavour that is initiated with the intent to provide a forum for the in house students to discuss, analyse and put forward an opinion regarding contemporary socio political happenings.
